About the show

The Mousetrap plunges you into the quiet world of Monkswell Manor, a snowed-in country guesthouse where strange guests arrive and a murder has already taken place elsewhere. As tensions rise and secrets emerge, the detective on the case presses everyone for the truth. You’ll be guessing until the very end.

Agatha Christie wrote The Mousetrap based on a radio play called “Three Blind Mice” and it premiered on 6 October 1952 in Nottingham before opening in London on 25 November 1952. Over the decades it has become a landmark of West End theatre, having transferred to the St Martin’s Theatre in London in March 1974 and continuing to run there.

A key tradition is that the identity of the killer should not be revealed outside the theatre, to preserve the experience for future audiences.
